For Parents

Over the years, I have written mostly for doctors and children. However, lots of parents in my pediatric practice tell me they enjoy my KidsPost articles as much as their kids. This is especially true for the ones about sleep, exercise and why breakfast is good for you, etc. I have also written a handful of medical and humorous articles for parents. The medical articles, like the entries in my blog, are for educational purposes. They are not meant to provide specific advice about diagnoses and treatment.

My Blog

Like all pediatricians, I spend a lot of time answering questions about the healthcare needs of my patients. The questions range from concerns about growth and development to issues regarding infections and other medical problems. The information I post on my blog will focus on common pediatric problems and the practical solutions to those problems.

It is not my intention to create a comprehensive source of pediatric information on my blog. The best place to go for in-depth pediatric advice is the official parenting site of the American Academy of Pediatrics: For additional Internet resources, check out the following page on my office website:

Lastly, the information in my blog is for educational purposes only. For specific medical advice about diagnoses and treatment, please consult your doctor.
